Home Charging Rebate

50% of purchase price, up to $500

Austin Energy currently offers 50% of the purchase price of a qualifying new home charging station, up to $500. You must receive Austin Energy electricity and enroll in Power Partner EV. Eligible equipment includes compatible stations and additional chargers paired with a qualifying telematics-enabled vehicle.

The current program page does not promise reimbursement of installation labor. Apply after installation with a paid charger receipt. Funding is limited and approval is required; confirm equipment eligibility before purchasing.

Plug-In EVerywhere Public Charging

$0.12203 / kWh (Level 2) · $0.23616 / min (DC fast)

Austin Energy lists $0.12203 per kWh at its Level 2 charging ports and $0.23616 per minute at its DC fast chargers, billed from plug-in to plug-out. These public rates require no subscription.

Rates and station locations are managed by Austin Energy and can change. Check the Austin Energy site or app for the current network map and pricing.

Power Partner EV Charging Rewards

$50 enrollment + $25 after one year

Enroll a qualifying connected Level 2 charger or telematics-enabled vehicle for a $50 bill credit after approval and $25 after one year of participation. Austin Energy may pause or slow charging during program events; participants can override an event.

Incentive amounts and eligible devices are set by Austin Energy and may change. Verify the current program details before enrolling.

The Austin Energy account holder applies after the charger is installed. Gather everything first: the online application is completed in a single session, cannot be saved, and times out after one hour of inactivity. Submit only on Austin Energy's official portal. This club never collects VINs or utility account numbers.
